Arundhati Choudhary wins India's 5th boxing gold at CWG 2026

Arundhati Choudhary defeated England’s Chantelle Reid in the women’s 70kg final to win India’s record-extending fifth boxing gold at CWG 2026. Her victory extended India’s best-ever boxing campaign at a single CWG edition and took the country’s overall gold-medal tally in Glasgow to 11. India had never previously won more than three boxing golds at one CWG before Glasgow.
