Aryna Sabalenka was fined $7,500 (over ₹7 lakh) at the 2026 US Open for her outburst after losing the women's singles final to Elena Rybakina. The Belarusian smashed her racquet and hurled expletives at a TV camera and also received a code violation after throwing a ball into the stands. Sabalenka lost 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 to Rybakina.
