World number two ranked Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus continued her trend as she signed her fitness trainer's head ahead of the grand finale in Melbourne. The 25-year-old Belarusian had earlier explained that "it's a routine". Sabalenka outclassed her Chinese opponent Quiwen Zheng to win her second consecutive Australian Open title and fifth to win it without losing a set.
