Australia all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner has recorded the best bowling figures by an Australian cricketer in Women's T20 World Cup history. The 25-year-old off-spinner registered figures of 3-0-12-5 against New Zealand in their Women's T20 World Cup 2023 opener to set the record. The previous record was held by Julie Hunter, who posted figures of 3.2-0-22-5 against West Indies in 2012.
