Ashoka University's faculty alleges manipulation in 2019 polls; university issues statement

Sabyasachi Das, Assistant Professor of Economics at Ashoka University, in a research paper, alleged manipulation in the 2019 Lok Sabha election. The paper claims BJP won a "disproportionate number" of closely-contested seats. After it sparked political controversy, Ashoka University said social media activity by faculty members in their individual capacity doesn't reflect the University's stand.
