Ravichandran Ashwin, who recorded the first 'mankad' in the history of IPL, received a 'mankad' warning in a TNPL 2024 match. Dindigul Dragons' Ashwin was advancing forward at non-striker's end as Nellai Royal Kings' S Mohan Prasath was about to deliver a ball. Prasath stopped mid-way and warned Ashwin. Replays showed Ashwin had not entirely left the crease.
