All-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin has been bought by CSK for ₹9.75 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction, which is being held in Saudi Arabia's Jeddah. With this, Ashwin has returned to CSK after nine years. His salary in IPL 2024 was ₹5 crore. He was released by RR ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction.
