Team India off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin on Sunday became the fastest bowler to take 350 wickets in Test cricket, achieving the feat during the first Test against South Africa in Visakhapatnam. The 33-year-old dismissed Theunis de Bruyn to reach 350 wickets in his 66th Test match, equalling the record of former Sri Lanka off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan.
