Hours after the ball tampering allegations, Dindigul Dragons’ captain Ravichandran Ashwin smashed an imposing half-century against Chepauk Super Gillies, on June 16. Earlier in the day, the Dragons’ skipper was at his economical best, conceding just 29 runs off his four overs, picking up the scalp of CSG’s opener RS Mokit Hariharan.
