ASI to restore neglected 12th-century temple in Telangana

The 12th-century Gollala Gudi temple in Telangana's Mulugu district, which had been in a state of neglect, has been recognised as a monument of national importance by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The temple is regarded as an example of the architectural and sculptural traditions associated with the Kakatiya period. It is a Trikutalaya temple with three garbhagrihas.
