ASI who shot Naba Das put under psychological assessment, LVA test

The Crime Branch has put dismissed Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Gopal Das under forensic psychological assessment and LVA test, an officer said. The ASI is in police remand for shooting late Odisha minister Naba Kishore Das. His psychiatrist Chandra Sekhar Tripathy said Gopal was diagnosed with bipolar disorder about eight years ago, adding, "He used to get angry very easily."
