Asian Games flag-hoisting delayed as chief guest fails to arrive, India made to wait

India's Asian Games flag-hoisting ceremony in Nagoya was delayed on Friday, leaving the contingent waiting. Chef de Mission Sahdev Yadav said the chief guest had not arrived, which seemed to be causing the delay. However, organisers cited "some trouble with a team". India's Sharath Kamal and Anjali Bhagwat had approached the dais before being sent back to the waiting area.
