Asian video streaming platform Viu exits India: Report

Hong Kong-based video streaming service Viu has decided to shut its Indian operations amid tough competition from players like Netflix, the Economic Times reported. CSO Arun Prakash told employees that Indian operations needed investments worth hundreds of millions which the company cannot afford. Viu would rather invest in other Asian countries where it's among the top five players, he said.
