Asim Munir sent Pakistani troops to fight for Saudi Arabia without Parliament's approval
Pakistan's Army chief Asim Munir has sent troops to fight for Saudi Arabia against Houthis under the Mecca defence pact without Pakistani Parliament's approval, reported Reuters. This reflects Munir's growing hold after constitutional changes last year gave him unrestrained powers and lifetime immunity from prosecution. A senior army officer confirmed Pakistani troops are present in Riyadh.
