Assam court asks police to lodge FIR against Ajmal over remarks on Hindus

An Assam court has ordered Guwahati's Hatigaon Police to register an FIR against AIUDF MP Badruddin Ajmal, who had advised Hindus to follow the "Muslim formula" of marrying at a young age. It was hearing a petition wherein Assam Jatiya Parishad leader Dulu Ahmed claimed police hadn't registered his complaint against Ajmal. The court also took note of "police inaction".
