Assam family finds their pet rescue story in NCERT book

An Assam family was surprised to find their rescue of an orphaned Asian palm civet featured in an NCERT Class 10 English textbook. In 2009, they took in the two-week-old cub after it fell from a tree in Nagaon district. The story of the rescue has now been included in the NCERT Class 10 English curriculum for the 2024-25 batch.
