Assam farmer's son who studied without electricity, internet scores 610 in NEET-UG exam

Bishu Limbu, the son of a farmer from Assam's Tinsukia district who studied without electricity and internet, has scored 610 out of 720 in the NEET-UG exam 2026. Every evening, Limbu used to study under the light of a kerosene lamp. Limbu, who lives in a leaf-roofed house, secured an All India Rank (AIR) of 7,320 in the exam.
