Assam man builds safety device with plastic bottles for flood-prone areas

Abhijit Dowarah, a 38-year-old man from Assam, has developed a low-cost solar-powered safety device using discarded plastic bottles for flood-prone areas. The device acts as a reflector during the day, making hidden hazards visible, and during the night its solar-powered lights, which turn on automatically, help pedestrians stay safe. Abhijit has built over 50 such useful products from waste.
