Assam man run over by escort car after Prez's convoy crosses route

A man was killed after being hit by an escort vehicle in Assam’s Golaghat district while he was trying to cross the road. The incident happened after President Ram Nath Kovind's convoy passed through the same route. "We would like to clarify that the vehicle...was not part of the President’s convoy," Golaghat Deputy Commissioner, Mrigesh Narayan Barua said.
