Assam official held for hiring mimics to pose as 'CM Himanta' to seek money

Assam government official Debeswar Bora was arrested from his official residence on September 7 for allegedly hiring mimicry artists to imitate CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and senior bureaucrats, police said. He allegedly cheated over 100 businessmen across states by claiming direct access to top officials. Bora reportedly collected crores of rupees by offering jobs and government contracts.
