Assam Police detains 2 suspected Bangladeshi women on train

Assam Police detained two women suspected of being illegal Bangladeshi nationals from the Saraighat Express in Guwahati. Fake Aadhaar cards and Bangladeshi currency notes were recovered. Legal proceedings have been initiated under the Immigrants (Expulsion from Assam) Act, 1950, and the women are expected to be deported pending legal formalities.
