Assam Rifles rescue Manipuri woman kidnapped by Myanmar's insurgent group

Assam Rifles rescued a Manipuri woman who was kidnapped by the Kuki National Army-Burma (KNA-B), an insurgent group from Myanmar, and Village Volunteers Eastern Zone during an attack along the India-Myanmar border on May 7. The woman, Olina, was reunited with her husband and community at Chassad headquarters. Assam Rifles also caught an armed KNA-B member in a follow-up operation.
