Assam's Charaideo Moidams might get world heritage status

In corners of Upper Assam are unique heritage structures called Charaideo Moidams, which are burial grounds of Ahom kings and queens. The necropolis is a burial ground, with structures that have been built using compacted earth which vary in size and complexity. Recently, these Moidams received a prestigious recognition, inching closer to being inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
