Assam's Tezpur Airport to be shut till 2026 for maintenance work

Assam's Tezpur Airport will be closed from October 1, 2024 to March 31, 2026. Flight services will remain closed on the instructions of the Airport Authority. The movement of passenger planes has been stopped due to maintenance work. The airport is adjacent to the Tezpur Base of the Indian Air Force, and is used for both commercial and fighter aircraft.
