The Assam government signed an MoU with the Airports Authority of India to conduct pre-feasibility studies for five greenfield airports at Manas, Majuli, Umrangshu, Diphu and Charaideo. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the move will boost connectivity, tourism and strategic infrastructure across the state.
