Assam Traffic Police constable suspended for assaulting civilian

A traffic police constable in Guwahati, who was seen beating a motorcycle-borne man in a viral video, has been suspended for his alleged conduct of indiscipline following an order issued by deputy police commissioner. The video, which surfaced on Friday, shows a man travelling with his family before being repeatedly assaulted by constable Fakhruddin Ahmed at the Paltan Bazar area.
