Assam unveils clean energy policy targeting 2000 MW solar capacity

Assam announced ICEP 2025 (Industrial and Commercial Energy Plan) to add 2,000 MW of solar capacity by 2025. The plan includes utility-scale and rooftop solar, policy reforms, and ₹10,000 crore investment. It also promotes energy efficiency and storage to support industrial growth and reduce emissions.
