Assange's extradition on hold till US rules out death penalty: UK
A UK court on Tuesday ruled that WikiLeaks Founder Julian Assange can't be extradited to the US on espionage charges till US authorities assure he won't face the death penalty. Assange could appeal against his extradition if the assurance doesn't come, the court said. It also sought assurance that Assange would be allowed to rely on the First Amendment.
