Assembly did its job: J&K CM on resolution to restore special status

Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah said the Assembly has fulfilled its role by passing a resolution for dialogue with the Centre to restore the region's special status. "The assembly has done its job. I'll only say this much," Abdullah stated, following resolution's approval through voice vote. A ruckus broke out inside the Assembly as BJP legislators opposed the resolution.
