Assi collects ₹4.20 cr in opening weekend at box office in India

The courtroom drama Assi, starring Taapsee Pannu and directed by Anubhav Sinha, earned ₹4.20 crore in its first weekend at the Indian box office. The film opened with ₹1 cr on Friday, showed a boost to ₹1.60 cr on Saturday, and maintained similar numbers on Sunday. Critics have given mostly positive reviews to the film.
