Asteroid, 1 km in diameter, to pass by Earth on March 21: NASA
An asteroid, about a kilometre in diameter, will be at its closest to Earth on March 21, NASA said. The asteroid, 2001 FO32, will make its closest approach at a distance of about two million kilometres and will not be coming this close again until 2052. During this approach, 2001 FO32 will pass by at about 1.24 lakh kilometres/hour.
