Asteroid 2023 DW unlikely to hit Earth on 2046 Valentine's: NASA

Asteroid 2023 DW, which was feared to hit the Earth on Valentine's Day in 2046, would most certainly miss our planet, NASA stated. NASA earlier said that the asteroid has a 1-in-600 chance of smashing into Earth, but the space agency has now revised the estimate to around 1-in-770. The asteroid was first detected on February 27.
