Aston Villa's Zion Suzuki becomes 1st Japanese goalkeeper to play in Premier League

Zion Suzuki became the first Japanese goalkeeper to play in the Premier League after making his debut for Aston Villa against defending champions Arsenal on Monday. The 24-year-old joined the club from Parma on a permanent transfer for a reported fee of around €35 million earlier this month. Notably, Suzuki represented Japan in the FIFA World Cup this year.
