Astronaut Anil Menon harvests vegetables in space, shares video

Indian-origin NASA astronaut Anil Menon and Jessica Meir harvested kale and wasabi mustard grown aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Cultivated for a month using NASA's Veggie plant growth system, the fresh greens were used to prepare a meal on the station. The exercise advanced NASA's efforts to develop reliable food supplies for long-duration space missions.
