British astronaut Tim Peake has released a time-lapse video showing how lightning storms hitting the Earth look like from space. He tweeted, “Amazing how much lightning can strike our planet in a short time”. The video was taken as the International Space Station (ISS) was flying over North Africa and Turkey and moving towards Russia.
