Astronomer asked Cabot to rejoin after kiss cam row, she refused as she'd become laughingstock

Astronomer ex-HR head Kristin Cabot claimed that the company asked her to rejoin after its investigation into the Coldplay kiss cam scandal, which involved ex-CEO Andy Byron, was concluded. Cabot told the NYT that she couldn't imagine standing up as HR chief when she was a laughingstock. She instead negotiated her resignation and announced it on July 24.
