Astronomers discover double debris disc around dead star
Astronomers using the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope have discovered a rare double debris disc around a dead star named J1328−1450. The two rings, separated by a clear gap, appear to be shaped by two planetary bodies that survived the star's violent death. The discovery offers a glimpse into the possible future of our Solar System, a researcher said.
