Astronomers slam launch of 'disco-ball' satellite

Astronomers worldwide have criticised the launch of 'disco-ball' satellite, saying its high reflectance would interfere with the study of the night sky. Launching such satellites "would bring astronomers on the street," said a New Zealand-based astronomer. While other researchers said, "intentionally bright long-term space graffiti" and "Another invasion of my personal universe".
