At least 35 workers sustain burns in steel factory accident in Wardha

At least 35 workers were injured, with seven to eight sustaining serious burn injuries, in an accident at Uttam Galva Metallics Plant near Wardha in Maharashtra on Wednesday. The accident happened at around 5:30 am when the steel plant was closed for maintenance. The accident was reportedly caused by the sudden burst of hot particles and air from the furnace.
