At least 4 TMC leaders held in separate cases within 2 days

TMC spokesperson and vice-president of its West Bengal unit, Jay Prakash Majumdar, has been arrested for allegedly illegally occupying a woman's flat for the last 12 years. Separately, TMC Councillor Mahesh Kumar Sharma of Kolkata Municipal Corporation's Ward 42 was arrested in a case involving cheating and extortion. Councillors from Wards 36 and 106 were held in separate extortion-related cases.
