Veteran Marathi actress and Lavani performer Leela Gandhi recently spoke about how senior artists are forgotten once they move away from the spotlight. During an event, Leela said, "You remembered me, invited me...I thank you for that." Expressing her disappointment, she added, "Call us sometimes and ask how we are. Don't give us anything, but at least talk to us."
