At which age is the labour force participation rate the highest?

For men, labour force participation is the highest and near universal after 25 years of age, with little variation among sub-age groups. Among women, however, the likelihood of being in the labour force is the highest in the 40-44 years group: 50.5 percent of women in this group were part of the labour force in 2022-23, PLFS data shows.
