Athens blast collapses building in Plaka, two injured

A powerful explosion struck Athens' historic Plaka district near the Acropolis on Friday, collapsing a two-story building and damaging nearby structures. Two women were rescued from an adjacent building and hospitalised. The fire department confirmed the blast hit an old building in the tourist district. Authorities are investigating the cause.
