Atlassian to buy Indian-origin founders' Loom for $975 million

Atlassian has announced that it will be acquiring Indian-origin founders Vinay Hiremath and Shahed Khan's video messaging platform Loom for $975 million. The integration of Loom, which is a former unicorn, with Atlassian's tools will provide multiple ways for teams to connect and collaborate. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of Atlassian's financial year 2024.
