Attappadi police destroy 7,300 ganja plants after long trek

Attappadi police destroyed 7,300 ganja plants found at two locations on Ponnakkal hill in Puthur panchayat. The team trekked for over seven hours through steep terrain to reach the plantations. About 1,600 young plants and 5,700 mature plants were found across 635 beds. Police said the growers used drip irrigation and are now searching for those responsible.
