Attempt to sensationalise issue: U'khand HC on Mohammad Deepak's plea for protection

The Uttarakhand High Court on Thursday said Mohammad Deepak's petition seeking police protection is "nothing but an attempt to influence investigation" and an attempt to "sensationalise the entire issue". Deepak stood up to a group of men who were harassing a 70-year-old Muslim shopkeeper to drop word "Baba" from his shop's name on January 26.
