Attempted jihadist terror attack: Israeli minister as co-pilot stabs pilot mid-air

Israel's Defence Minister, Israel Katz, called the incident in which a co-pilot stabbed the plane's captain an "attempted jihadist terror attack". "The terrorist had one intention: to crash the aircraft with everyone on board," Katz said. Indian pilot Smit Machchhar fought back the co-pilot before passengers rushed to the cockpit. The passengers then overpowered the co-pilot.
