Auditioned for different role, later director offered lead role: Gondhal actor

After 'Gondhal' was selected as India’s official entry for the Best International Feature Film category at the 2027 Oscars, actor Yogesh Sohoni said, “It’s like a dream come true. I’m absolutely speechless." "I was given the audition for a different role initially...but after seeing it, director called me for a narration and offered me the lead role instead," Yogesh revealed.
