Augmented reality headset startup DAQRI to shut down: Report
US-based augmented reality headset startup DAQRI has reportedly closed its headquarters, laid off several employees and is selling assets ahead of a shutdown. It emailed its customers saying it was closing its cloud and smart-glasses hardware platforms by September, TechCrunch reported. Co-founded in 2010 by Brian Mullins, Gaia Dempsey and Philip Tolk, DAQRI builds professional-grade AR products.
