August rainfall helps major Pune dams reach full capacity: Report

Rainfall in the month of August has helped all major dams in Pune that supply drinking water to the city reach their full capacity, reported Indian Express. On Friday, Panshet dam remained at 99.27% capacity despite releasing water into Khadakwasla dam earlier, the report said. While Khadakwasla dam had reached 100% capacity on Wednesday following the discharge, the report added.
